Wow! Having not seen that particular outcrop before, I suddenly feel like I need to get out a whole lot more!

It is amazing the diversity of rock and sediment out there. I have seen several places with all colors! Good picture!
I live far away, but I/we visited my grandparents hard-scrabble farm in Winchester so I am a little familiar with the Big Horn Basin. I have wanted to return to explore the area, and now I have another reason to do so. Realistically, I don't see myself being able to return so I explore the area on my laptop; therefore, I appreciate the blog and photos.
