Mammoth. October, 2008."Mighty bull elk No. 6 has died, victim of a freak accident in Gardiner, Mt., just north of Yellowstone National Park. The Unusually heft 725 pound animal tripped while trying to cross a fence and somersaulted onto his back. . . . He was found dead Sunday."
