Yellowstone. May, 2010.Harlequin Ducks are sea ducks who spend winters along the coast of the Pacific Northwest, ranging as high as the northern tip of Alaska. During the summer they move inland and live in fast moving streams. Yellowstone is at the southern tip of their summer range.
